Resetting a Container

Resetting a Container

You can reset a container that has Tether enabled. Resetting the container leaves configuration information intact but removes tether information and returns the container to the condition it was in before tether started.

The following Tether information is deleted in the container folder:

  • creg

  • cstore_C (and other cstore_<drive>)

  • tethered_path.dat

DCOM information is preserved.

To Reset a Container

  1. Select and then undock the container for which you enabled Tether.

  2. Right-click the container, and then select Reset.

  3. Click Yes.
