Troubleshooting the Connection to a Source

This section describes what to do if the connection to a source cannot be established.

Version Mismatch

The version of the VirtaMove Source Agent does not match the version of V-Maestro. To fix this issue, re-install the VirtaMove Source Agent by one of the following methods:

  • Manually

  • Forcing a re-install of the Source Agent

SSL Mismatch

Check that the SSL key for the source matches the key that V-Maestro is using to establish the connection.

Unable to Connect

  • Port 9665 must be open to connect to the VirtaMove Source Agent on the source machine.

  • Check that your network firewall settings allow the connection.

  • Check that a Source Agent is running on the source.
