virtatasks

This command lists scheduled tasks on the source or destination machine and exports the tasks to a specified container.

Administrator privileges are required.

Syntax

VIRTATASKS appliance [servername username password] [/L]

VIRTATASKS appliance [servername username password] [/E]

To generate the selection file, use /L before a /E command.

Options

Option	Description
appliance	The full path of an existing appliance to which you want to export the scheduled tasks.
Servername, username, password	The credentials of the destination machine for which you want to list scheduled tasks or to which you want to export scheduled tasks. If VirtaMove Source Agent is installed on the source machine, specify only `servername`.
/L	Lists tasks on the source and prepares a .csv file for selection at `<appliance>\TaskSelect.csv`.
/E	Export scheduled tasks selected in the .csv file to the appliance.

Example 1: virtatasks /L

This example assumes that VirtaMove Source Agent is installed on the source machine.

>virtatasks C:\appliances\test windevtest /L

Task Selection file has been generated in C:\appliances\test\TaskSelect.csv.

Place an x before the comma in the line of each task you wish to export to the VAA, then run this utility with /E to export.
