This command performs a tether sync on an undocked container. This will do a sync with the remote machine and then exit. The mode of sync is Update or Reset but sync will not take place if the container is docked or CPROP_TETHER_SYNC is not set.

To sync to an application that has been dissolved to the underlying operating system, set CPROP_SYNC_INTO_DISSOLVE to Y before executing virtasync.

Administrator privileges are required.

virtasync <VAA> [update|reset] [/b]

Options

Option	Description
VAA	Full path of the container.
update\|reset	Optional. The sync mode. If specified, sets the tether sync mode property for the container before running tether sync.
/b	Optional. Runs tether sync in the background.
